Yesterday, we rented a car and drove around the island. They upgraded us to a convertible. Very fun. We saw a Japanese temple, beautiful landscapes, and lovely beaches.

Mary loves the color of the water here. We don’t have photos of everything fun that we did. But there was plenty. The day before we hiked partway up Diamond Head, the big volcano crater just east of Waikiki that is a symbol of Hawaii for many tourists.
